Our promise

Books should keep moving.

A textbook read once can carry a student through a whole year. A novel you've finished is a window someone else hasn't looked through yet. BookSharing exists for one reason: to put the books people no longer need into the hands of people who can't afford to buy them.

No money changes hands. No shipping markup. No platform taking a cut. You give, someone receives, and a book gets a second life. That's the whole idea.

For givers
List any book in a minute. When people request it, you choose who receives it — and you arrange a simple, local handover. You stay in control the whole way.
For receivers
Search by title, author, or ISBN. Found what you need? Send a request with a short note. If the giver approves, you arrange to collect it. Completely free.
Kept fair
Givers pick their recipient, so books reach genuine readers, not resellers. A limit on open requests keeps things equitable. Reading should be a right, not a luxury.
